Hello, and Welcome to Comb My Hair.com I, Salkis Re, am a natural hair stylist and my humble beginnings started in the basement of mom and dad's house. Hours of endless curling, combing,braiding, cutting and coloring were all part of
my after school pass time. Being the typical teenage girl with a mountain of insecurities forced me become a "hairstyling maniac": I wanted to look pretty and I knew a fabulous hairstyle had the power to transform an average girl into a glamour girl. It became my obsession; today it's a labor of love. One that even my teenaged daughter has found the passion for. Hairstyling has taken me across the country and overseas and I realize that women are the same everywhere. We all want to be beautiful, loved and admired. I believe a good hairstyle is like medicine for the soul. It boost confidence, makes a woman sweet and lovable. It may sound contrive, but this is why I've been in this industry for over 14 years. I've had clients cry in my chair after seeing their hair. And after 14 years, the flame burns brighter than ever inside me, especially with the explosion of natural hair styling. I am a certified Sisterlocks Consultant, and Hair Extension Expert. I take new stylists by the hand and show them how to achieve polished hairstyles for natural hair through one on one instruction and am currently in post production on a set of hairstyling videos.
