Keep your locks clean and soft by using natural cleansers that do not strip the hair.
Listen to what I have to say about correcting coloring mistakes or changing dark hair color to light hair color.
Never use products that contain beeswax or shea butter(wood glue), this cause your locks to get grow mold.
Do not style your locks in a way that uses tight twisting on a regular basis, you'll break your locks off over time
Acid rinses with Apple Cider
Vinegar breaks down excess
oils and products that may accumilated in locks. It will leave your hair feeling light and soft. I also suggest putting about a teaspoon of dead sea salt into the mix too.
cold pressed oils like: evening primrose, olive, coconut, are great moisturizers for the skin and scalp. Especially good for dandruff and scalp irritations.
For thinning locks, you can add hair
to strengthen the base of the locks by using bulk natural hair. Take small pieces of the hair and wrap it tightly around the lock.
Begin wrapping right above the thinning area and wrap counter clockwise about 4x's then braid about three turns, then wrap again, using the same pattern until you run out of hair. Spray the lock with a tight holding spray for added security
If you want to go blonde with your hair color, instead of using bleach, use a level 10 hair color that contains a booster. Straight bleach will weaken your locks and cause them to pull apart. Trust me, I know this from painful experience!
